Stephanie Byrne, CEO at Amblique successfully leads management buyout from eCargo Group (ASX:ECG)
Amblique is a digital commerce consultancy providing retail strategy, ecommerce platform implementation and optimisation services to a range of APAC clients. Amblique’s team has a strong track record of providing quality service to their client portfolio, adding value and the expertise necessary to deliver intuitive digital retail experiences. On August 12th 2022, Chief Executive Officer of Amblique - Stephanie Bryne successfully led a management buyout of Amblique from eCargo Group (ASX:ECG).
History of Amblique
Established in 1999 by Justus Wilde, Amblique experienced rapid growth throughout its first decade in business and was awarded a number of industry recognitions whilst developing their own proprietary ecommerce software, EMS.
By 2011 the business recognised its next evolution was to begin implementing enterprise ecommerce solutions for retailers. This started the Amblique journey to finding a best of breed platform that would meet the needs of retailers and brands enabling them to grow their online presence and launch themselves into global markets rapidly and cost-effectively. Amblique recognised Demandware (now Salesforce Commerce Cloud) as the best eCommerce platform solution to support these goals and meet their client’s needs.
Amblique quickly established a strong partnership with Demandware and were appointed as a strategic end-to-end Reseller Partner in 2012. Amblique is focused on engineering digital commerce solutions on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform and is recognised as a top-tier ‘strategic’ implementation partner in the Salesforce Commerce Cloud partner ecosystem.
In 2015, the success and growth of Amblique along with its award-winning partnership with Salesforce Commerce Cloud led to an acquisition by eCargo Holdings (ASX:ECG). This allowed the Amblique business to extend its focus on the wider APAC region and as a result, Amblique was named the 2016 APAC Sales Partner of the year by Demandware (now Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
Amblique’ s success has been recognised in the business community in Australia with an inclusion in the BRW Fast 100 in 2009, 2010 and 2011 lists and the 2009, 2010 & 2012 SmartCompany.com.au Smart50 awards. Amblique has also been recognised for their client work including various AIMIA, ORIA, ADMA & Pacesetter awards, with the global roll out of Michael Hill International awarded 3 times both locally and internationally as well as being named finalists for eCommerce solutions in the Nora Solution Partner Awards 2022 for Best eCommerce Integrator, Best Industry Event for ShopTalk and won Best All Round Commerce Partner!
New Beginnings
In 2019, Amblique expanded their platform implementation services to Fluent Commerce to help clients wishing to create efficient omnichannel order management experiences. By 2020, strategic partnerships with Marketplacer further allowed Amblique to deliver projects for clients to scale their businesses and expand their product ranges to offer even more to their customers.
