Amblique provides ecommerce and digital consulting services and is committed to protecting your privacy. Our policy outlines how Amblique handles personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988.

When you enquire about our services or when you become a client, a record is made which includes your personal information.
The types of information we collect (generally directly from you) includes: contact name, email address, information about the organisation you represent or are employed by, office address, phone number and job title.
We may collect and update this information over the phone, through email or our website, or in person.
Amblique may also, collect personal information through other sources such as:
(a) affiliated and related companies; and
(b) third party suppliers and contractors who assist our business.

Amblique collects personal information reasonably necessary to carry out our business, to assess and manage our clients’ needs and provide services. We may also collect information to fulfil administrative functions associated with these services, entering into contracts with you and/or third parties and managing client relationships.
The purposes for which Amblique usually collects and uses personal information depends on the nature of your interaction with us, but may include:

(b) developing and expanding our services;

(d) undertaking credit checks (including assessing Applications for Commercial Credit), managing accounts and, if necessary, ensuring our risk in collecting debts;

DISCLOSURE
Amblique will not sell, or rent/lease your personal information to others, unless we are explicitly given your permission as required by law. Information may be disclosed to associate and related companies, contractors, other credit providers, risk insurers, debt collectors and credit reporting agencies.
OVERSEAS RECIPIENTS
Amblique’s team is based in Australia and Vietnam and Amblique works with clients and service providers globally. It is likely that your personal information will be disclosed to overseas recipients (in particular our team in Vietnam).
Unless we have your consent, or an exception under the Australian Privacy Principles applies, we will only disclose your personal information to overseas recipients where we have taken reasonable steps to ensure that the receiver will not breach the Australian Privacy Principles in relation to your personal information.

Whilst Amblique makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information held, we rely on your assistance to ensure that your details in our system are correct. Please advise us in a timely manner of any changes to this information. After receiving notification from you, we will take reasonable steps to correct your information.

Amblique is committed to ensuring the security of your personal information & makes every effort to protect your data.
Amblique stores information on paper or electronically. Personal information collected on paper may be converted to electronic form for use and storage, with the original files either being archived or securely destroyed. Amblique will take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.
Amblique will maintain security over paper and electronic data using appropriate security systems such as firewalls, user identifiers and passwords. We will also take steps to destroy or de-identify information that we no longer require.
QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS
Amblique will endeavour to attend to concerns by first considering any immediate steps which can be taken to resolve the concern.
If your concern requires more detailed consideration or investigation, we will acknowledge receipt of your complaint and complete our investigation promptly. We may ask you to provide further information about your concern and the outcome you are seeking. We will then typically gather the relevant facts, locate and review relevant documents and speak with individuals involved.
In most cases, we will investigate and respond to a concern within 30 days of receipt. If the matter is more complex or our investigation may take longer, we will let you know.
If you are not satisfied with our response to your complaint, or you consider that Amblique may have breached the Australian Privacy Principles or the Privacy Act, a complaint may be made to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
